Hello my name is Binty and I am 27 years old. I am a mother of 3 beautiful kids. I have been dancing since i was a kid, approximately 3 years old. I am from Sierra Leone West Africa and I came to Canada when i was 10 years old. Back in Sierra Leone I was in a dance group called Igara and we performed at every event. In Sierra leone dancing is done in bare feet, the feeling of the earth is said to be a calm and engaging feeling. When i first came to Canada we danced at church's, multicultural festivals, schools and pretty much anywhere, I loved sharing my passion with others. Dancing has always been a way to express myself in a positive way and i am so excited to be able to share that with you.
My name is Caitlin Huiskamp and I have been dancing since I was 4 years old. I grew up dancing jazz and tap but when I entered high school that transitioned into hip hop, and dancehall. In high school I was part of our school Dance Company, I taught dance as an EA for a credited course and was admitted twice to P.U.L.S.E; an invitation only dance conference at York University. After high school I was fortunate enough to perform in music videos featured overseas. I love the way that dancing can make you feel and how much fun you can have while doing it! Moving your body to a rhythm and finding those beats in between is so exciting to me. I love what emotions music can bring to your body and what happens when your body feels those emotions. For me; anytime is dance time!
My name is Bintou Barrow and I've always been a dance enthusiast and lover of movement. Hailing from West Africa, dance has always been a part of my life in the form of connecting and communicating, moving my body fills me with so much joy! As a certified Zumba instructor, I have had the opportunity to create and teach in many parts of the world. From Canada to South Korea and my own place of birth The Gambia. I believe in the power of dance and movement to create abundance and happiness mentally and physically and challenge each one of us to continuously and always believe in ourselves regardless of our current standing in life.
